The Blanton Museum of Art free to the public every Thursday. Located on the University of Texas Campus on the corner of Congress and MLK.

Congress Bridge Bat Viewing 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bast live beneath the Congress bridge and take flight for their nightly feeding each night around dusk. April through October.

Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum free to the public. Located on the UT campus.

Free Historic Walking Tours explore the history of downtown. Departs from the south steps of the Texas State Capitol year-round Thursday – Sunday (except major holidays, weather permitting.

Mount Bonnell Natural limestone formation reaching 780’ above sea level. Great for taking in the sunset and capturing views of downtown Austin and Lake Austin.

Zilker Botanical Gardens Beautiful grounds located in the heart of the city. Open from 7am – 7pm March 11th – Nov. 4th, from 7am – 5:30pm Nov. 5th – March 10th.
