With most school districts in the greater Austin area, Monday is the first day back to school. You can bet stores are going to be packed with parents and children purchasing last minute items.

What better way to embrace the heat than attend the 20th Annual Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival. I’ve been and trust me, it’s not as torturous as it sounds:)
Sample and purchase hot sauce from local vendors such as Aztexan, Big Daddy’s Hot Sauce, Granddaddy’s Sweet Southern Heat, and Jaime’s Spanish Village. There will also be live music from David Garza, El Tule and Distant Lights. If you haven’t been, try it out!
