For the next few days leading up to the Austin City Limits Music Festival, I’ll be posting blogs with little tidbits of information.
Todays topic: Downtown Parking Meters
For those of you planning on parking at a meter downtown and walking or taking a shuttle, beware. The extended meter times are now in effect:
Monday to Wednesday – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday & Friday – 8 a.m. to 12 midnight
Saturday- 11 a.m. to 12 Midnight
The hours listed above apply to all meters between Cesar Chavez and 10th Street, and between IH-35 and Lamar Blvd. Outside of that area, meters operate from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Don’t worry if you don’t have lose change. The meters take MasterCard, Visa, and debit cards.
