Frankly it doesn’t really surprise me. Living in Austin almost my entire life, I know how amazing this city is. It’s just great to know that in the last few years, it’s finally getting the recognition it deserves.
According to an article published by the Milken Institute, the Austin/Round Rock area came in second for best performing cities where jobs are created and sustained. The 2010 Milken Institute Best-Performing Cities Index ranks U.S. metropolitan areas by how well they are creating and sustaining jobs and economic growth. Factors include job, wage and salary, and technology growth.
