Did you survive Black Friday? I did, but barely. Woke up at 4:00 am and trekked out into the cold with my partner in crime, my mom. We shopped for almost seven hours straight and got some stellar deals. After a nap, I am ready to start the weekend!
Tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 27th bring the kids to the Chuy’s Children Giving to Children Parade. This amazing event is one of Austin’s premier parades complete with floats of everyone’s favorite characters. Bring an unwrapped toy to donate to Blue Santa and take in the sites of Disney & Pixar characters, but keep a watchful eye out for the king of the parade, Elvis. It starts at 11:00 am, but get there early for a good seat. Downtown Austin along Congress Ave.
