It was so amazing to wake up this morning, look out my window and see a blanket of snow covering my backyard. Not something we’re really use to here in Austin. Funny thing is, Sunday we’re back up to sunny and 68 degrees!
Once the snow thaws and the ice begins to melt away, it’s time to make plans for the weekend.
First up, the 4th Annual Modern Home Tour, tomorrow, February 5th from noon to 6:00 pm. “The Modern Home Tour was created in order to promote progressive, responsible urban growth in Austin by featuring unique and modern homes designed by local Architects and Designers and marketed by local Real Estate professionals. The Tour provides an opportunity for Austinites to learn about the dwellings that our community is producing to take care of the demands of the growth in Austin while being environmentally conscious and architecturally progressive.” It is a great opportunity to check out some really cool homes that aren’t necessarily open to the general public. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased on the tour.
