It’s Easter weekend and you know what that means… dozens of adults dressed up as the Easter bunny hopping their way around Austin.

Ever think you’d see a bunny on ice? Head out to Chapparal Ice for Easter on Ice and catch a glimpse of this rare event. Saturday, April 23, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Event included in the price of admission. Admission is $6 and skate rental is $4 for children and adults. Kids under 5 years of age skate for only $5, including skate rental. Get $2 off of general admission when you bring in 2 canned food items to be donated to Capital Area Food Bank of Texas. 12:30 – 3 p.m. – Ice Skating with the Easter Bunny

Here’s another crazy thought… Easter has gone to the dogs. Saturday, April 23rd, bring your four legged friends to the Easter Pet Parade. Starting at noon at Jo’s Coffee on S. Congress, dogs and their owners line up for the Easter walk in a festive parade. Have your dog dressed to impress as judges will be on hand to award the best costume. $15 to register your dog to participate. Winner receives a night at the gorgeous San Jose Hotel!
